Only a couple of halfway descent scores

My best score on the 10th of the crash ritual is 65 million. I used the old "crashing from left" strat for that score.
It is even my new NTSC PR. I tried yesterday to find the knack to get the truck very often or always. Sometimes i thought i got it, then next time i tried to do same but it didn't work. I took a wide last curve and pressed 2 times the brake and after the curve i started to boost.

New PR on zone 10 by 3 million. The pattern is repeating: 3rd day in a row I improve a record by a small margin, miss the WCR top-25 by a small margin on a zone where I did not have a PR video previously.

I was waiting for a truck, but too bad

I would really like to know if Joe Crash used a different strat than the rest of us on this zone. I heard he also got several scores in the low 90's here. Either he was using a different and better strat, or he just played this zone a lot. There is no other way he could have got that many good scores on this zone.

Or he knows the trigger to always provoke an early truck (if one exists). Though I guess that counts as a different strat.

He used the same strat as in my 83 million vid (can be found in the video ranking link). Afair he had his whole top 5 over 80 million, his 2nd best was around 90mil. And he didnt used the reverse-strat for getting a truck. I guess he got a 3 busflip more often or he just found a very good timing and technique to make this happen more often. Or he just played that zone to aaaalot.
After Drew told me the strat he used i was able to improve my PR to 83 million back then. I even had only 16 multiplier there, missed the 1st car and the very last for 18 multi.

The strat i used needs only a good third busflip for 5 mio & x18 (90 nonglitch). Only more trys for achieve it.
A 2 busflip with 70 mio + a glitch, 100 mio would be break easily.
The key is the multi + 3 busflip, bk got a very good damage but only x16, all is possible for the TOP 3 here.

The strat only gives 8-10 multi depending on how many cars come and whether or not the last car(which may be a truck) comes on time. There isn't enough time for the truck to glitch and cause any significant damage.
I think the extra car that allows 10 multi instead of just 9 comes more often if I get to the start line sooner(either use manual transmission and/or start braking later). I have barely tested this yet so I don't know for sure.

With a very early truck there is enough time. I just gave that strat a go and got 2 very early trucks. Trying to figure what makes them come, passed the start at 19 in both crashes. But still it seems random.

And with a early truck u will get only 9 multi. Same as for regular strat which gives 17 multi only with a early truck.

I got even a glitch with the wall strat. 5,6 million damage, it is even my best damage ever on zone 10.

Crashfreak found that if you wait longer before starting, you get the buses hitting harder for more damage. He even got a best video for this zone using this method, and it was even nonglitch.
