Making videos for Burnout 2 Crash Mode

If you get any of these things in crash mode, please make a video of them, it does not have to be a PR (personal record) or WR (world record) to be worthy of having a video.  The ones in red are especially important to record because they are extremely rare.  Aftertime glitches can also deserve videos, as long as they fit anything described here; they are ones that do not raise the damage because they happen after the helicopter mode happens.

General notes:
Record enough replays.  I would recommend at least 7 or 8 replays for things highlighted in red, or more if it takes that long to get a camera angle that shows the action.
If you are using a smartphone or video camera instead of a capture card to record, don't shake it while recording, that will make the video blurry.  Hold it with both hands to keep it steady or, better yet, set it up on tripod or table in front of the TV or monitor.

Camera glitches and live videos:
When playing the zone 9 wall strat, or any strat on zone 8, please make "live" videos in case of camera glitches.   A camera glitch is which is when the only view the game gives you during a replay is that of your own car and does not show the glitch.  "Live" means that the video is made as the crash happens, as opposed to just waiting until you get a good score and then making a video of the replays.  See this for a good example of a live video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQOsyO7NJLY  Compare that with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAJdVV0tis8, where the action cannot be seen at all because of the camera glitch.  Camera glitches don't happen every time, but when they do, live videos provide a much better view of the action, so they are a lot more enjoyable to watch.  Also, I have a playlist dedicated to the highest scores recorded live: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZRlKCDJDJ95pDAMAoqiIP0z-nMd3-mM3

All Dolphin videos should be recorded live from now on.
Dolphin's ability to record and playback input can be used to help make live videos of crashes.  "Live" means that the video starts before the countdown finishes, and finishes after helicopter mode finishes.
It is helpful because you don't have to record all of your gameplay all the time when you are playing.  Also, if your PC is not powerful enough to record videos of Dolphin at full speed, you use the following directions and I can make the video for you.
To ensure savestate compatibility, everyone should be using exactly the same iso file of the game, and the same version of Dolphin. To find the same iso as the one I am using, go to 'emuparadise' and search for 'Burnout 2 gamecube europe'.  I am using Dolphin 5.0.
When a camera glitch happens, it is okay to use dolphin's "Free Look" feature to see what is going on with the crash.

Settings:
Config, General tab - uncheck Enable Dual Core, if your PC can still run Burnout 2 at full speed without it.

Steps to record a DTM file:
1. Start Burnout 2 by clicking on 'Movie' in Dolphin's toolbar, and then 'Start Recording Input'.   This will ensure that Dolphin records all of your input from the moment you start the game.

2. Make a state at least once every few minutes or so. Ideally, it would be on every crash, just before the "3, 2, 1" countdown begins.
3. When you get a good score, select Movie, then Export Recording, and save the DTM file.
4. Send me the state you made, the DTM file that was made at the same time as that state(same filename, just with .dtm on the end), and the dtm from Export Recording.  It's best to send it to me a message directly on skype, or send me a PM here, instead of posting in the skype group because i am not always reading what's being said in the skype group.
The files that you send me should look something like below. The dtm file made using 'Export Recording' should be larger than the other one.



Steps to playback a DTM file without having to wait the amount of time it took to get your PR(not necessary for you to do this if you are sending the files to me):
1. Select Movie, then 'Play Input Recording'
2. Load the savestate made earlier. The movie should start playing from that point.
3. Start recording the video with Bandicam or whatever recording software you use.
